About Jackie McMurray

Jackie, who immigrated to the U.S. from Iraq with her family at a young age, is no stranger to the entrepreneurial life. Her father’s dedicated work ethic, and the stoic example he set for his kids, led six of his eight children to pursue entrepreneurial ventures of their own! Not only is Jackie an accomplished real estate and marketing professional, but she also dabbled in franchise consulting.

About Joey McMurray

Joey is a success in his own right as well, having risen through the ranks to become a vice-president of a commercial construction firm. This knowledge, along with his management experience, will no doubt come in quite handy when the couple makes the decision to expand their single Heights operation into multi-unit territory.

Joey and Jackie McMurray will be operating their Retreat in the Los Angeles suburb of Sherman Oaks, a bedroom community in the San Fernando Valley with over 65,000 residents. The neighborhood is bordered by a section of the Santa Monica Mountains, giving it a picturesque backdrop. The population of Sherman Oaks is considered upscale, where nearly half of all residents have earned a four-year college degree. Not only are there a couple of modern shopping malls, but Sherman Oaks is also home to the famous Ventura Boulevard, a sublime destination of restaurants, bars, pubs, café, and retail outlets – an ideal market for Heights members.
